The Ritz-Carlton Tianjin takes the city’s historic British Concession as its starting point: authentic English Neoclassical interiors, built on balance, symmetry, and proportion, that blend a classical European aesthetic with Chinese architectural and decorative elements across 277 guestrooms and 53 suites.

Supporting the FF&E scope from PYR’s Chicago studio, I researched and specified the materiality throughout the project and sourced the furnishings for the public spaces and guestrooms, learning firsthand the exacting standards a grand hotel of this pedigree demands.
